Name: Cissy Huang
I was introduced to forensics in middle school and competed on the Shrewsbury HS (MA) Speech and Debate team for four years. I started out in Extemporaneous Speaking and then made the transition to Public Forum Debate and Student Congress. In extemp, I had modest local and national success. As a public forum debater, I was a two-time semifinalist at the Lexington Winter Invitational and a semifinalist at the 2007 NCFL National Tournament. In student congress, I was a finalist at Yale, Villiger, and the 2006 and 2007 NFL National Tournaments, both times in the House. Now that high school is over, I’m interested in staying involved with the activity that has played a major part in my life.
I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Chicago studying law and public policy. I also occasionally coach and judge for the Shrewsbury High School Speech and Debate team.
